LANCASTER crashed out of the FA Cup, and a lucrative home tie with Darlington in the Second Round, with a 4-1 defeat at home to Altrincham.
Despite taking the lead early-on, a Lee Poland hat-trick and a penalty from Rod Thornley, saw the south Manchester side go through.
And to make matters worse Lancaster's Kevin Holliday and Paul Haddow were both dismissed for violent conduct.
The Dolly Blue's manager Tony Hesketh was disappointed with the result and felt the scoreline was not a fair reflection of the game.
