SOUL songstress Dina Carroll is Saving the Best For Blackpool as she stops off in the resort next month as part of a sensational new greatest hits tour around the UK.
Blackpool fans can see Dina the diva on Dec 9 at Blackpool Opera House performing her hits from over the years including Ain't No Man, Don't Be A Stranger, The Perfect Year, So Close and Someone Like You.
Dina's tour follows on from the success of the release of The Very Best of Dina Carroll which includes her recent chart single -- a stunning version of Van Morrison's Someone Like You recorded specially for the smash hit film Bridget Jones' Diary.
She first entered the charts back in 1991 with Carole King's It's Too Late. The release of her debut album So Close in 1993 was followed by 4 Brit nominations and a Brit Award for Best Female Artist in 1994.
The album spawned five huge hits and went on to sell more than 1.5 million copies in the UK alone, making her the first ever UK female artist to sell a million copies of a debut album.
Dina's distinctive mix of pop, R&B and club hits alongside smooth soul ballads is set to be a real Christmas cracker. Call Blackpool Live on 292029 for booking and details.
