AGAINST a motivated Crewe outfit, who had previously held both Bebington and Bolton on their home patch, Preston snatched victory in the dying minutes with a 3-4 win thanks to 14-year-old Adam Wilson to extend their lead to six points at the top of the North Premier Division 2.
Sam Sinclair hit a hat-trick and set up Wilson's winner. Sinclair's first two goals were penalty strokes, but on both occasions Preston surrended their lead.
In the second half Sinclair finished from close range, but Crewe again equalised.
In the final passages of play Sam Sinclair slipped the ball through to Wilson at the back post who duly sealed victory.
Preston entertain Bowdon 2's on Saturday (December 1) at West Cliff with a 2.15pm start.
