GREEN-conscious companies will be in the pink when Bury Business Environment Association (BEA) stages its fourth annual awards dinner next week.
The glittering occasion, the fourth annual awards event held by the BEA, will take place at the Longfield Suite in Prestwich on Thursday, December 6.
The dinner and awards will provide individuals, community groups and businesses in Bury with recognition for their achievements in reducing the environmental impact of their activities and contributing to a better environment.
Eight awards categories will be competed for and these include those for awareness and environmental management, buildings, structures and landscape improvements, pollution control, together with school and community environmental projects.
More than 300 guests are expected to attend the dinner, which has now established itself as the premier Bury business event of the calendar.
Main guests will be Bury North MP David Chaytor, a keen environmental campaigner, and his Bury South counterpart Ivan Lewis.
