WITH a surname that sounds like a household detergent it's no wonder Bobby Zamora has been driving defenders round the bend all season.

But the Shakers back line are determined to halt the Brighton striker's impressive goalscoring exploits.

Zamora is the Second Division leaders' top goalscorer with sixteen goals to his credit and another one tomorrow would extend his scoring run to eight consecutive games - a new Seagulls' club record.

"He's done well to carry on scoring in Division Two as he did in Division Three," said Preece.

"We'll have to be aware of him because he's a threat but they are far from being a one-man team.

"I've a lot of respect for what they are doing this season but we don't fear anybody at home.

"It's all about how we start the game. If we start well we usually go on to get a good result but if not we struggle.

"But this couldn't be a better game to come into after the disappointment of going out of the cup."

On the personnel front things look to be improving for the Bury boss.

Skipper Paul Reid and fellow midfielder David Borley both came through Tuesday's game unscathed while the other injury doubt, central defender Danny Swailes, is sore but should feature tomorrow given there is a two week break after the weekend.

Striker Gareth Seddon (above left) is likely to be fit after missing two matches and Lee Unsworth will give a better balance on the right after serving a one match suspension.

The Seagulls are the best supported club in the division on their travels.

There current base, the Withdean Stadium, only holds 6,600 so fans who don't get a chance to see home games have been travelling all over the country to see their favourites.

And they'll have enjoyed what they've seen with only one defeat on the road in the league, curiously at bottom club Northampton Town back in August.

They are currently on an unbeaten run of eleven games and newly-installed boss Peter Taylor only has one injury doubt with full-back Paul Watson picking up a knock in last Saturday's 1-1 draw at Swindon Town.

Kick-off at Gigg Lane is 3pm.

Danny Swailes' booking against Lincoln on Tuesday night will earn him a suspension next month.
