A MAN was threatened with a knife outside the Black Dog Inn in Belmont.
He was in a gold Citroen Saxo car and setting up camera equipment when a man came up behind him holding a knife and demanded he hand over a Fuji camera, a flash gun, camera bag and laptop computer.
The robber is described as aged between 25 to 30-years-old, with short, dark, ginger hair with a darker goatee type beard.
He was wearing a light jacket, possibly Nike, and green tracksuit bottoms. The robbery took place at 1.45pm on Wednesday.
DS Ian Critchley of Darwen police said: "This was a serious offence which involved the use of a weapon.
"We appeal to anyone who may have been in the area at the time or who may have information about the robbery to contact us on 01254 353841."
