A ST ANNES man had his face slashed after trying to stop two men stealing money from his pockets.
The 20-year-old victim was walking along Wood Street on Nov 13 at 5.30pm when two men approached and asked him for money and the time.
When he replied he had no watch one of the men stood in front of him while the other searched his pockets.
When he tried to stop the thief he was slashed in the face by a sharp object causing a five ins gash which needed hospital stitches.
The first attacker was 6ft tall and in his early twenties with short, black hair with sideburns and a thin face. He was wearing a white jacket, dark trousers and white trainers with a local accent.
His accomplice was a 5ft 10ins white male wearing a baseball cap and a red coat.
A 12-YEAR-OLD GIRL was indecently assaulted on Nov 13 at 3.50pm while she was walking along Bathurst Ave, Blackpool.
The man who blocked her path with his arm and then assaulted her was in his mid to late thirties of medium build, dark brown greasy hair and wearing a grey woollen hat with white markings, light blue jeans and white, brown and blue pump style trainers.
The man was later seen with a small child.
A WOMAN with three children stole another woman's bag while she ate with a friend in the Peppermill Cafe, Birley Street, Blackpool, on Nov 15 between 11.45am and 11.55am. The red and beige cotton bag contained a pair of black Versace sunglasses, Marks and Spencers and Debenhams vouchers, a brown leather purse, cash, a Siemans silver coloured mobile phone and other items.
The thief was 5ft 3ins and about 25 years old with short, dark brown hair cut over her ears, a spotty complexion and was scruffily dressed with two boys aged five and two and a girl aged three.
The older boy was wearing a bright yellow coat with scruffy blond hair and the girl wore pigtails and a blue anorak.
A CHEEKY thief stole a man's briefcase from the side of a car on Talbot Road, Blackpool, on Nov 14 at 7.30am when the owner nipped inside a building to get his jacket.
The thief ran off towards the Metropole Hotel and the briefcase was later found at the back of Warbreck Road with a Nokia phone charger stolen out of it.
The thief was about 50 years old, of scruffy appearance, wearing a blue baseball cap, a dark mac and navy blue tracksuit bottoms.
