IF you're looking to work off the Christmas and New Year excesses while also raising money for charity, the Garstang 10K Race could be for you.
Starting at Garstang High School on Sunday, January 13, the run will raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.
Charles Horton, the charity's north west regional officer, said: "Every penny raised is so important in helping us to fund research into a cure. I urge anyone who has entered the race, or is thinking of entering the race, to contact me now for sponsor forms or a race entry form. By raising sponsorship, you can make a real difference."
Runners will be given branded sportswear for taking part.
For details ring 01244 403012. The closing date for entries is January 6, 2002.
