YOUNGSTERS from the Blackburn Prince's Trust received a royal seal of approval this week when they met the Prince of Wales.
The Prince visited the Groundwork Centre for Rochdale and Oldham to meet members of the Prince's Trust and Groundwork volunteers.
He took part in a discussion with mentors and staff to learn about how the trust was working with the diverse ethnic community in the Blackburn and Burnley areas.
The trust has been working with the Muslim Council of Britain to help young Muslims take advantage of available loans and hopes that more young people from ethnic minority backgrounds will start to seek the trust's help.
Jackie Tyler, Regional Director for the Prince's Trust, said: "The Prince's Trust is always seeking new and innovative ways to support young people who need us most."
