PADIHAM are tracking a mystery player from UniBond First Division side Harrogate.
The utility player is a Burnley lad and has been in and out of the Harrogate side. Storks boss Graham Howarth is hoping to lure him to the Arbories.
Padiham face Leek CSOB - relegated to NWCL Division Two last season - away tomorrow and will welcome back Jamie Edmonton after he missed last week's 4-0 win over Bootle when his girlfriend gave birth to their daughter Georgia.
And Howarth is hoping to have long-term injured Darren Fullard back in training next week.
Fullard, who suffered a depressed fracture to the head two months ago, will see a specialist next week and hopes to get the all-clear.
Padiham have been knocking in the goals of late after a mini-drought after the departure of Lee Chambers to Kendal Town.
"Pilky (Ian Pilkington) and (Anthony) McCluskey have started banging the goals in. We were creating chances before but just not putting them away."
