I AM writing about the alarming amount of rubbish deposited on the pavements of Walshaw Road by pupils attending Elton High School, Bury.
If the school allows sweets, crisps and chocolate to be brought into the school, and allows the use of the ice cream van, they should ensure that the pupils are provided with receptacles for their rubbish and that they are used properly.
It seems unfair that the residents of Walshaw have to clean their pathways and gardens, some on almost a daily basis, due to these careless youngsters. So I would like to know what the school intends to do to make Walshaw cleaner and tidier.
FED UP, Walshaw.
