A VICTORIAN evening raised around £500 for the Mayoress of Burnley's charity fund.
The event, which was held at the Borrowdale Drive home of Stephen and Dorothy Gallagher, was attended by 50 people, including the Mayor and Mayoress, Coun Jack Alston and his wife Mary.
Everyone dressed in Victoria costume and enjoyed a buffet supper, various games and a tombola.
The Gallaghers organised the event with their friends Chrissy and Deryck Sanderson, who had a similar event at their home in Reedley last year.
