COUNCILLORS will be asked to refuse a planning application for a cattle shed in a field at Admergill Hall farm, Gisburn Road, Blacko.
Five letters of objection, and one in support will be considered by Barrowford and Western Parishes committee on Thursday.
The complaints refer to a lack of facilities for slurry or fodder storage, pressure of the spring water supply and nuisance from smell and flies. The support letter says the business has always maintained a high standard and been sympathetic to the landscape.
The parish council has expressed concern at recent developments on the site including the formation of a car park, bridge, road and the siting of a shipping container near the sheep house.
Officers are recommending refusal on the grounds that the livestock house close to a private dwelling would be detrimental to residential amenity.
