A ST ANNES teenager is to appear before Preston Crown Court in connection with the death of Blackpool man.
Lee Joseph Paul Parkinson, 19, of Richmond Road, St Annes appeared before Blackpool Magistrates Court on Friday (November 30) charged with the murder of 28-year-old John Michael Edge of Hornby Road, Blackpool.
Mr Edge's body was found with head injuries at a flat in St Annes in the early hours of Thursday morning (November 29).
Mr Parkinson was arrested outside the flat later that day. An 18-year-old who was also arrested has since been released without charge.
Mr Parkinson was remanded in custody until December 10, when he is expected to appear before Preston Crown Court.
