DO not let people criticise Hyndburn Hospital Food. Ihave just spent three weeks in Blackburn Royal Infirmary after falling and breaking my hip and I could not have recieved better treatment if I had been the Queen Mother. I am 84 years old and had never been in hospital before.

The food was excellent with a wide choice and the care the nurses and staff gave me was wonderful -- and they are all so cheerful and most of the nurses have children and their own home to keep when they have finished their long hours at the hospital and

I thank you all so very much.

I am now in a rehabilitation unit at Great Harwood for a few weeks, before I can go home. I have only been here a few days and it is a lovely and comfortable place -- good food, very, very clean and the staff are so friendly.

There are only four more ladies in beside myself in this unit at present. Once again my special thanks to all nurses and staff, you work so hard.
