POLICE chiefs banned striptease girls from the force's boxing ring at sportsmen's dinners because their high heels were ruining the canvas.
The canvas arena owned by Lancashire Constabulary's boxing club had been used as a stage by exotic dancers but new guidelines stated they must use a proper stage.
