STUART Greene found a bed for the night in Blackburn police station after he had been refused admission to the Salvation Army hostel because he was too drunk.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Greene "kicked off" in the public inquiry area and, after being arrested for a breach of the peace, continued to behave aggressively on his way to the cells.
Greene, 51, of Union House, St Peter Street, Blackburn, admitted a breach of the peace and pleaded guilty to behaving in a violent manner in the police station.
He was bound over in the sum of £100 to keep the peace for 12 months and fined £50 with £50 costs for the second offence.
Neil White, prosecuting, said Greene became abusive at the inquiry desk and after his arrest made racist comments towards the custody sergeant.
As he was being taken to a cell he shouted to a female officer: "Don't forget my breakfast."
Basharat Ditta, defending, said Greene had been drinking with friends on Saturday but there had been no problems until he was refused entry to the hostel where he had been staying for four weeks.
