PADIHAM Green CE Primary head teacher John Hughes was celebrating today after pupils gained high marks in today's Government performance league tables.
He said: "I put the results down to good teaching and hard work by all the staff and pupils. We're looking at a consistency, maintaining these good results year in and year out.
"And we feel that we have actually improved over the last few years. We're delighted for our children, and we would like to keep it up. Our aim is to provide children with quality education, and we're looking at turning out pupils who can be successful in secondary school. We're not just teaching to help them pass tests."
