A SUPERMARKET has put Blackpool schoolchildren in the picture over art.
The Sainsbury's Pictures for Schools scheme presented students at Beacon Hill High School with four framed reproductions of art masterpieces recently.
Along with Montgomery High and Bispham High schools, Beacon Hill was nominated by staff at Bispham Sainsbury's, Red Bank Road, to receive the free artwork.
Special assemblies were arranged at all the schools and artwork was presented by Andrew Coverdale, manager of Sainsbury's Red Bank store.
Beacon Hill's head of art Mark Taylor said the presentation at his school went well and the pictures and their accompanying teaching pack will now be used as an educational resource. "It's excellent for the department because they are very good quality pictures and obviously things like that cost money," he added.
