AS a spectator to the manoeuvres of Hyndburn Council, I note that the local Labour Party is bereft of any ideas for the future of the borough: in fact, I cannot recall them putting any new ideas forward for a number of years.
The Conservatives on the other hand have given us the cinema complex, the area councils, regeneration of the town centre and spent extra monery on cleansing.
They have also promised us neighbourhood wardens to help deal with the numerous problems affecting the quality of people's lives and funding is in place to upgrade council housing -- the list is endless.
What has Labour got to offer against this record? As a voter in the forthcoming local elections, I would like to know what my options are.
