THIEVES have stolen a disabled children's minibus from Radcliffe.
The 14-seat white Ford Transit, which had been adapted for wheelchair use, was taken from Mickey Spillane Travel around 7am on Friday (Nov 30).
Owner Mrs Teresa Lambert said: "It is used for taking disabled children to school and now we've had to hire one to replace it.
"We are not concerned about the effect on business, it is the effect on the children that is so upsetting.
"One boy was without a wheelchair at the weekend as a result of the theft."
The vehicle, with a registration number of J758 WAR, was taken from the car park of the Turf Hotel on Water Street where it was kept.
Mrs Lambert said: "We are offering a reward of £500. We just hope we prick someone's conscience."
Anyone who can help to locate the minibus should contact Mrs Lambert on 724 8414.
