DENIS Underwood has signed striker Simon Garner to boost Great Harwood's bid to move up the NWCL Division One table.
It is not THE Simon Garner but a 20-year-old front man who has played for Accrington Stanley's youth side.
He could get his chance at Warrington tonight as Harwood prepare for a tough month which includes games against Skelmersdale, Clitheroe and Prescot.
"You have to play them at some stage and we are now playing better," said Underwood who is looking for his first league win in ten games although his side are celebrating reaching the quarter-finals of the Marsden Challenge Trophy.
Neil Baron is suspended for four weeks while James Coonan will miss two games.
