PADIHAM meet Stone Dominoes away in NWCL Division Two and boss Graham Howarth hopes for the usual entertaining game of football between the two sides.
Both teams, who spent their first year in the North West Counties League last season, like to play good football.
"We had three good games against them last season," said Howarth. "And we have already had a good game against them this season when they beat us 1-0.
"We both like to play football so the games are usually entertaining to watch. It should be a tough game though because they are right up there. This time last season they were top and we were second!"
Both Stone and Padiham made suprisingly good debuts in the league last season and Stone have again made a good start.
Padiham have faltered slightly this season after losing top striker Lee Chambers to Kendal but are now banging in the goals through Anthony McCluskey and Ian Pilkington.
Their game last weekend was called off due to the weather.
"It does get difficult for teams playing good football once the pitches get bad, but the pitch at the Arbories is looking at the moment," said Howarth. "The groundsman works very hard on it."
