A COMMUNITY group can keep making music thanks to the generosity of a Leyland company.
The Broadfield 2000 Community Association has spent £1,500 of Alcoa-Lingotes' money on a drum kit, two electric guitars and a keyboard.
The firm, based at the Farrington business park, run the Alcoa Foundation, which has donated £15,763 to South Ribble community groups in recent years.
The Community Association's volunteers hope to use the instruments to get young people involved in their work.
For more information on how to apply for a grant from the Alcoa Foundation call Billy Maxwell, South Ribble's community development officer, on 01772 625350.
