A ST ANNES teenager is to appear before Preston Crown Court in connection with the death of a Blackpool man.
Lee Joseph Paul Parkinson, 19, of Richmond Road, St Annes appeared before Blackpool Magistrates Court on Friday charged with the murder of 28-year-old John Michael Edge of Hornby Road, Blackpool.
Mr Edge's body was found with head injuries at a flat in St Annes in the early hours of last Thursday morning. Parkinson was arrested outside the flat later that day. An 18-year-old who was also arrested has since been released without charge.
Parkinson was remanded in custody until December 10 to appear at Preston Crown Court.
