THE bus station should stay.
It's central for everybody. Apart from workers, there are lots of elderly people who use public transport.
As for 2,000 new car park spaces, if the public transport could be relied upon, perhaps car owners wouldn't need to use their cars so much.
Preston could be vastly improved. I have to wait 20 minutes for a bus that's supposed to be every 10 minutes. The whole of the bus transport system needs a shake-up. If this was vastly improved there would be no need for extra car spaces or parks. As for more shops, we have excellent shopping facilities. There is no need for any more.
However, whatever the public wants, the council will go their own sweet way. So asking the public for their thoughts is a waste of time.
