DAVID William Johnson became abusive and threatening to his mother after an argument over unauthorised spending on his credit card.
Blackburn magistrates heard that he called his mother a 'whore' and a 'bitch' and that he 'wished she had died in her car crash'.
Johnson, 18, of New Wellington Street, Blackburn, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in £75 to keep the peace for 12 months.
Neil White, prosecuting, said the argument had started at 5pm when Johnson got up after spending the day in bed. He confronted his mother about £200 which had been spent at Argos. Stephen Parker, defending, said Johnson had received a bank statement which revealed the spending at Argos, a shop he did not frequent.
"He is not sure exactly what was said but accepts there was a dispute," said Mr Parker.
