A BLACKBURN man has admitted causing damage, with intent to endanger the life of his former girlfriend.
Mark Lawrence also pleaded guilty to two further offences relating to the same woman when he appeared at Preston Crown Court today.
The forty year old defendant of St Philips Street, pleaded guilty to damaging a Nissan Micra car in October, with intent to endanger the life of Janet Heyes.
The further offences which he also admitted involved making a threat to kill her in July and harassment.
The harassment is said to have involved him sending razor blades through the post, sending notices alleging to others that a convicted paedophile was living at her address and distributing false details that a relative was an organiser for the National Front.
A judge at the crown court was told that the offences resulted from the end of a relationship.
Lawrence, who had no previous convictions, had his case adjourned for pre sentence and psychiatric reports.
A request for bail was refused. He was remanded in custody to February 1.
