COMPILERS of the Oxford Dictionary of Weird and Wonderful Words are hoping some of the ancient terms listed will make a comeback.
I can't see why they shouldn't. Many are more fitting than the ones we use now.

One word could be used to describe some of the tea served up in the office, jumentous, a rare adjective meaning resembling horse's urine.
They're like the words viewers only hear on Call My Bluff, once seen and sadly soon forgotten. Perhaps some will catch on.
