Stan Ternent "NIK (Michopoulos) tried to catch a ball for their first goal when he should have punched it but he more than repaid that because he made some good saves.

"You expect to come under pressure when you are the away team but I thought it was a pulsating match with some good goals scored.

"It was a credit to the first division and there were some very good players on show."

Preston boss David Moyes "I THOUGHT we were the better team but if you lose three goals at home you can't expect to be the winning team

"We missed chances although they had the best one when Lucas saved from Ian Moore. But David Healy missed in the first half and at the start of the second half.

"The ball bobbled about the box a few times but it was not our day. I thought we played well but we gave away a terrible goal from a free kick and then gave the ball away and they scored with the next touch.

"But great credit to the lads because they kept going and we got back into the game and I thought we would go on and win it.

"We have lost our unbeaten record so we have to start again. If we win next week it is better than drawing two games and we have been drawing too many."
