THE Pendle and District Multiple Sclerosis Society's new resource and information centre was officially opened on Saturday.
The centre, which has been mainly funded through a £40,000 grant from the Pendle Primary Trust, was opened by local MP Gordon Prentice. It is based in the annex of Holmefield House, in Barrowford, and offers information, exercise and relaxation to those suffering from MS.
Gordon Prentice cut the ribbon to open the centre and was joined by officers from neighbouring branches and regional and head office dignitaries.
Anyone wanting to donate money should contact the centre, which is open five days a week from 9am until 4pm, on 01282 698236.
