MALCOLM Hibbert has been following the Clarets for almost 40 years and he has seen them play at 86 of the 92 clubs in the top four divisions.
So when the balls are drawn out of the bowl tomorrow afternoon for the third round of the FA Cup, he has a wish list of teams he would like his beloved Clarets to play.
Hibbert, who is on the committee of Burnley Football Supporters Club, said: "I have never seen the Clarets at the new teams in the league, Rushden, Kidderminster and Cheltenham, but I really fancy a trip to Arsenal, Ipswich or West Ham.
"I also wouldn't mind going to Sunderland or Southampton as I have not been to their new grounds, the Stadium of Light at St Mary's."
For all those watching or listening to tomorrow's draw, Burnley will be ball number eight. Golden balls NEVER mind David Beckham being "Golden Balls", the Clarets just love the real thing.
Burnley have not lost since the start of November, the date when Football League matches are played with a yellow ball until winter is deemed to have ended next February.
This afternoon they will defend that unbeaten record against another side that has not lost with a yellow ball, Preston North End. The goal-getters LAST Saturday was not just a good day for the Clarets, two former players and a current employee also had a good weekend.
John Mullin, pictured, and Alan Lee got the goals that gave Rotherham a 2-0 win against Walsall and even though his team lost, the club's ethnic minorities development officer Dino Maamria was on target for Leigh RMI in their Conference game at Hayes.
Paul Cook thought he had netted the only goal in Wigan's defeat of Swindon, 24 hours after going on loan to the Latics but it was subsequently given to striker Andy Liddell. Kilby praise CLARETS chairman Barry Kilby this week hailed Stan Ternent's achievement in being named Nationwide manager of the month for November and he hopes that the timing of the announcement will help the club avoid the award's infamous hoodoo.
"We have already played and won once in December so hopefully the jinx that normally hits manager's when they win the award won't happen to Stan," he joked. Identical odds STRIKERS Gareth Taylor and Ian Moore are both 7-1 to score the first goal at Deepdale tomorrow, although bookies Coral make Jon Macken, David Healy and Richard Cresswell shorter prices.
Mind you, Taylor was the same price last week ahead of the trip to Crystal Palace. Not bad to say he was suspended.
Tony Ellis, who will get no closer than thew bench is 9-1 which makes the 12-1 available about Glen Little look good value as the winger has got seven goals already this season.
