SANTA will make a guest appearance at the Victorian Christmas celebrations at the Weavers' Triangle in Burnley on Saturday and Sunday.
Owing to the closure of some canal bridges, he will not be able to make his usual entrance on a canal boat and instead will be coming down the toll office chimney.
The visitor centre in Manchester Road will be decorated in Victorian style with the staff in Victorian costume.
There will be a tombola, bookstall and demonstrations of lace making.
The event is organised by the Friends' of the Weavers' Triangle in association with the Inn on the Wharf and will take place between 2pm and 4pm.
