KERSAL Vale's John Smith took his season's goal tally to a mightily impressive 25 with yet another hat-trick in his Division One team's Redwaters Coronation Cup 8-1 home win over Division Two Atherton Royals.
Steve Fagan also bagged three, Mike Phillips and Steve Tidmas one each with Gary Hodgson getting the consolation reply.
Royal Oak sailed through the potentially tricky away tie at Division Two Three Crowns B by a 5-1 margin, Neil Arnold and Jason Huyton scoring twice, Lee Cambray once and Paul Weir getting a 90th minute response for the hosts.
