ARMED raiders placed a gun to a shop assistant's cheek before fleeing with £550.
The two robbers also took an audio visual mobile phone worth £500 during the raid at the Elton Wine Shop in Walshaw Road, Bury, at 5.45pm last night.
One robber vaulted over the counter and pushed a small handgun against the 35-year-old male shopworker's face while his accomplice kept watch at the door.
Their victim was forced to open the till and then lie on the floor as the offenders made off. Both were white males and wore balaclava masks, dark clothing and blue gloves.
Bury CID are investigating and anyone with any information should contact detectives on 0161 856 8150, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
