MORECAMBE will hope to get their own back on Stalybridge Celtic in a repeat of the most exciting match of their season so far.
Morecambe seemed to be cruising to victory in their game at last season's Unibond league champions, leading 3-1 with 12 minutes left in the tie back in August.
However, by the time the final whistle went, they had flopped to a 4-3 defeat. Since then, Stalybridge have found themselves just above the relegation zone and ironically enough, struggling to find the net at times.
Lancaster also face a struggling side on their travels. Frickley Athletic have been clinging on to their Unibond Premier Division status for a few years now, but they can still pull off a result at home. Lancaster are still likely to be without Brian Welch -- the influential striker is still waiting for his return to action after an injury during his work as a policeman.
Boss Tony Hesketh predicted a tough game for his side: "You certainly find out about the character of your players when you go to Frickley.
"It isn't the most attractive ground and their players are always very committed, though they don't always play a lot of football against you."
City also hope to complete the signing of a new striker before the weekend's action in a bid to bolster their squad before the busy Christmas period. Hesketh said he believed a deal for the player would be concluded before Saturday's action.
