ONE of Lancaster's leading hotels celebrated its 10th anniversary in style with a royal guest of honour.
Princess Alexandra attended a special dinner at the Lancaster House Hotel, part of the English Lakes Hotels group.
The four star luxury hotel and conference centre, jointly funded by Lakes hotels and Lancaster University, is believed to be a unique development. Company chairman Michael Berry said the dinner was the perfect way to celebrate the success of Lancaster House as Princess Alexandra officially opened the hotel back in 1991. The princess, who is Chancellor of Lancaster University, has stayed a number of times at Lancaster House, which is adjacent to the university campus.
