CLEVELEYS primary pupils enjoyed tales of adventure when they met children's author Gerald Rigby.
Gerald visited Anchorsholme Primary School last week to read extracts of his new book The Ring to Rebellion. The fantasy adventure story is based on local Lancashire history and is a sequel to The Ring of Tima, a book written originally for his grandchildren.
Gerald told The Citizen his visit had gone well. "It was very enjoyable and that's the main thing. The pupils were very attentive and very interested I thought. I was very impressed by the school."
The visit was part of a one-day flying visit for the Preston-based author, who was also visiting Manor Beach Primary School, Cleveleys.
