HUNDREDS of people flocked to Whalley last night as the village celebrated Christmas past.
People donned period clothes as the whole village was transported back to Victorian times for the annual Pickwick night.
And as promised it was bigger and better than ever.
Shop owners and stall-holders entered into the spirit while brass bands, fairground organs, choirs, fire-eaters and morris dancers entertained the masses at the three-hour event.
The Yarrow River Jazz Band and the Victorians Choir made their debut at the event, adding to the entertainment.
The main street was closed off to traffic as charity stalls lined the road.
