SHEFKI KUQI will line up for Stockport County at Turf Moor tomorrow having seen his dream move to the Premierhip collapse.
The Finnish international had been the subject of a £600,000 bid from the Clarets East Lancashire neighbours Blackburn Rovers but County wanted more than £1million.
In an attempt to get the move he wanted Kuqi went on loan to Ewood Park but Rovers boss Graeme Souness was seemingly unimpressed and the interest has ended.
Talk of a move started when Carlton Palmer took over from the sacked Andy Kilner and he left Kuqi out. But he is now back in the side and spearheading an attack that has struggled for goals all season.
Ian Cox will be determined to see that the Clarets continue with another clean sheet at Turf Moor.
The defender has been in great form in recent weeks and he has been handed the captain's armband since Paul Cook's departure.
And having seen his defensive partner Arthur Gnohere break his duck for the season at Deepdale on Sunday, Cox might fancy getting his name on the scoresheet.
