Our unbeaten run came to a disappointing end last Sunday at Deepdale against arch rivals Burnley.
Everyone knew it was going to be tough and so it proved.
Burnley look a good side and deserve to be where they are, at the top of the league, but oh the chances we missed!
And how many times did we give the ball away in midfield?
Just as one win doesn't make a season, neither does one defeat end a season, but isn't it time we started strengthening our squad?
We began with one of the smallest squads in the division and since then we have lost two players through early retirement, and now also have two players on the transfer list.
Surely we need to bring some new faces in, especially a creative midfield player.
Three members of the PSG2000 committee met with Tony Scholes and John Booth at Deepdale on December 4 to discuss the concerns of several season ticket holders with regard to cut price ticket initiatives.
Tony and John took in our concerns but stressed that season tickets are still very good value for money.
They did however admit they were still looking at other ways to reward season ticket holders for their loyalty.
