CONCERN is growing for a Blackpool pensioner missing from home since December 8.
Peter Barker, 76, who suffers from deafness and cataracts, was last seen that day leaving his Woodfield Road home at 5pm in his blue Nissan Prairie car.
He was reported missing by a concerned neighbour.
Police described Mr Barker (pictured) as white, six foot tall with short, grey hair and brown eyes. He sometimes struggles to breath, is hard of hearing and has cataracts in both eyes. He was last seen wearing a suit jacket, a shirt and tie and a long, blue raincoat.
His car registration is F218 RHD.
PC Steve Rogers of Blackpool Police said: "Both the police and friends of Mr Barker are concerned for his safety and well-being. We are appealing for anyone with any information or sightings of Mr Barker or his vehicle to contact police at Blackpool on 01253 293933 or any police officer."
Police are also appealing for people in Hampshire to report any sightings of Mr Barker. He is known to have a brother in the New Milton area and he also visited Fareham in recent weeks.
