CHAMBER chiefs in Bury and Bolton have welcomed a £3 million package of projects to fight fraud and boost e-commerce.
The reaction by Bolton and Bury Chamber follows the announcement made by E-Commerce Minister Douglas Alexander.
Andrew Ratcliff, chief executive of Bolton and Bury Chamber, said: "These are exactly the kinds of investments and initiatives Government must focus on in its work to support world class credentials in UK e-business."
The announcement follows a report from the British Chambers of Commerce calling on the Government to concentrate on improving public confidence in e-commerce, invest more in tackling cybercrime, and improve access to broadband services.
