CLITHEROE castle's floodlighting will provide the backdrop for a floodlit Nativity in the grounds on Thursday at 7.30pm, which features former Clitheroe town mayor Coun Alan Yearing as one of the Three Kings.
The nativity was first held last year to mark the Millennium and was the idea of the late Lancashire Evening Telegraph photographer Jack Barry, as part of the Clitheroe 2000 project with Clitheroe Churches in Partnership.
It is produced by Margaret Smith and will star local actors from the amateur dramatics scene.
There will also be carols and refreshments.
In the event of rain, the nativity will take place at Clitheroe United Reformed Church.
