MATTHEW MOTT looks set to return to Rawtenstall.
The Aussie all-rounder had hoped to land a media job in Australia next summer but he looks set to put those plans on hold to help Rawtenstall's Lancashire League bid.
The 28-year-old Victorian, whose Australian state side also includes former Ramsbottom pro Brad Hodge, will be sent a contract in the New Year.
"We are 99 per cent certain he is coming back," said Rawtenstall chairman Brian Payne.
"We have been in contact with him and we will be sending him a contract in the New Year."
