A MUSICIAN played host to some famous old mates when they used his home recording studio.
Paul Birchall, of Runshaw Lane, Euxton, who was keyboard player in the band -eople, had singer Jim Diamond and jazz musician Snake Davis drop in at his Euxton home.
Diamond had million selling hits throughout the 1980s including 'Shoulda known better' and 'Hi Ho Silver' (theme of ITV series Boon).
Davis is one of the UK's leading saxophone and flute players who has worked with The Eurythmics, Paul McCartney and was in -eople.
Diamond and Davis have formed the duo 'The Blue Shoes' and are recording tracks for a new album at Paul's studio. The Blue Shoes will perform at Worden Arts Centre on Saturday, February 2, 2002.
