OLDHAM have been fined £2,000 and warned as to their future conduct at a Football Association disciplinary hearing.
The Latics were handed the punishment after being found guilty of not controlling their players by an FA Disciplinary Commission in Manchester.
The charges related to the Worthington Cup clash with Blackburn on September 12, during which Darren Sheridan and Mark Allott were sent off following an 84th-minute brawl.
The club was represented at the hearing by chief executive Alan Hardy and head coach Mick Wadsworth.
Hardy spoke in defence of the club, referring to the previously excellent disciplinary record enjoyed by Latics.
He said afterwards: "The FA officials listened to our case and we were given a fair hearing."
