WHALLEY Range halted Haidria's recent good run of form to go top of the Asian Image indoor six-a-side cricket league at the halfway stage.
The league programme now takes a month long break with Whalley leading nearest rivals Accrol Harangham by three points with seven games played.
In the game of the day, Haidria appeared to be on course for their fourth win of the season after reaching 58-4 off their alloted six overs.
However, they did not take in to account the rich vein of form of Whalley -- who have lost just once all season -- and Thahir and Muazan in particular who guided the new leaders to victory.
Whalley replaced Accrol Harangham at the top of the table who lost against early season championship favourites QAAF.
QAAF were docked points in the first game of the season for turning up late. But with the experienced Abbas in the side and a clutch of match winners, they could still mount a late title charge.
Harangham, who have relied heavily on Yasser, were dismissed for 53 with QAAF reaching 54-4.
Shandaar Takeaway are another side who could feature in the championship shake-up and took their unbeaten run to three matches with victory against a disappointing Great Harwood side.
For Shandaar, Arshad gave a great all-round performance and helped bowl Great Harwood all out for 39. In reply, Shandaar reached 40-3.
Tigers joined Shandaar on 12 points with a win against a young Al Farooq Club who have an 11-old-yeard and two 12-year-olds including East Lancs leg spinner Araf Asif.
While Al Farooq's batting is lettting the side down at the moment, they are proving to be one of the better bowling and fielding sides in the league.
At they had Tigers in trouble with Bilal taking two wickets in one over before Munawar came to Tigers rescue who eventually finished on 394.
The total proved to be too much for Al Farooq's weak batting side who were bowled all out for 22.
