LEIGH'S 'fifth' Beatle is appearing in the television Christmas special edition of the talent show Stars In Their Eyes.
Jeff Greenhalgh -- who last year was a favourite finalist with his lookalike, soundalike impersonation of Paul McCartney -- will be aiming to top the votes on Christmas Day.
Jeff, 44, sang Eleanor Rigby in last December's live final. He has been working as an engineering assistant for a bus company for the last 29 years and also sings in clubs at the weekend.
Devoted fan and wife of 22 years, Julie, will be watching him again as he performs in this Christmas classic as one of five star acts introduced by host Matthew Kelly.
Jeff has recently returned from four days of filming in Lapland with the other contestants.
He said: "We had a fantastic time, but I'll not reveal what I had to do."
The show, which will be broadcast by Granada TV at 9pm on Christmas Day, features former contenders who are back to wow the studio audience -- theirs is the difficult task of choosing their all-time favourite Christmas song.
