WORKERS enjoyed the sweet smell of success with their efforts to ensure a visit from Santa for needy youngsters overseas.
Staff at the Eton Hill Industrial Estate firm Fragrance Oils (International) Ltd collected around 85 Christmas shoeboxes packed with toys, sweets and other treats for children in Eastern Europe.
The collection was organised for the Christian organisation Samaritan's Purse, who will distribute the boxes in the Ukraine, Russia and other countries.
Sports and social committee chairman Maxine Tierney said: "We have had a really good response and are very pleased with the work that all the staff have put in."
